There are three AMTRAK train routes that service the Killington and Southern Vermont Region. Follow this link for a map of AMTRAK's Northeast routes.

Rutland, Vermont

If you are traveling from New York City, NY to Killington, Vermont, The Rutland Vermont AMTRAK Station (RUD) is a good option. Take the train from PENN STATION (NYP) on AMTRAK's Ethan Allen Express. The train from New York, Penn Station arrives in Rutland at 9:05 pm daily with the exception of Fridays when it arrives at 11:30 pm. The train from New York Penn Station to Rutland, Vermont takes about 5 and 1/2 hours.

White River Junction, Vermont

The White River Junction AMTRAK Station (WRJ) is another option for train travel to Killington. There is one train a day in each direction from New York City's PENN Station (NYP). This train provides access from Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Travel time on AMTRAK's Vermonter from Manhattan, New York to White River Junction ranges from 7 to 8 hours.

White Hall, New York

The White Hall, New York AMTRAK Station (WHL) is 55 miles from Killington and is a good option if you are traveling by train from Montreal (MTR) on AMTRAK's Adirondack.There is no ground transportation in White Hall, NY.  Call Killington Express Shuttle for a ride at 802-422-9777.

Bellows Falls Amtrak Station

• On Amtrak's Vermonter line, Bellows Falls (BLF) is recommended for groups vacationing at Okemo Resort.

Brattleboro Amtrak Station

• On Amtrak's Vermonter line, Brattleboro (BRA) is recommended for groups going to Stratton/Bromley Mountain.
